Direct
A React host rendering a slice as a plain default-exported component, in 11 steps. React only — there’s no Vue equivalent.
Module Boundary is the pattern where a slice renders as a first-class node inside the host’s own framework render tree, loaded through the host’s native lazy/Suspense/error-boundary machinery — host and slice must share a framework. It has two export styles, Direct and Injected, plus a guide for retrofitting it onto an app you already have.
Pick the path that matches what you’re building:
Direct
A React host rendering a slice as a plain default-exported component, in 11 steps. React only — there’s no Vue equivalent.
Injected
A React or Vue host rendering a slice that receives the host’s own framework instance through a default-exported factory, in 11 steps.
Existing App
Already have a bundled React or Vue app? Peel off one piece into an independent slice, without changing anything else about the app first.
